Every breath, every hour has come to this

Wow! I can't believe it's been an entire month since my last post.. Life has just been so crazy that photo-taking has pretty much been restricted to only on the weekends. The early sunsets and cold weather certainly don't help either! It feels like I can never get enough sleep, but looking back at this past year, I know it's all been worth it.

1. Career
I know that I'm so, so. SO lucky that my job opportunities have worked out the way that they have. I was juggling three part-time jobs in early 2012 and it was exhausting. My transition to full time took a little longer than I thought it would, but I finally secured the position in early 2013 and sadly had to leave behind one part-time position with one of the most caring bosses I have ever had. I know that giving up my second part-time job would give me a lot more free time, but I can't imagine leaving any time soon and my employers are just so wonderfully accommodating.

2. Health
I switched yoga studios in the late Fall, and I can't believe I didn't do it sooner! It was a little scary at first as I was going from a dedicated yoga studio to one that was attached to a gym, but I'm glad I made the move. I loved my first yoga studio but I knew I had to move on if I wanted to continue to make progress in my practice. Since it is attached to a gym, I've been able to mix it up a little and add some running/free-weight sessions. Nothing makes me feel healthier or more alive than doing some crazy arm balances after running 5k on the treadmill!

3. Relationships
PN and I just celebrated our 5 year anniversary last month. I know it sounds so cliche, but it seriously has passed by so fast. We've had one heck of a crazy year and  I won't be arrogant enough to say that we will be together forever, but I'm glad to be living in the now with him.

I hope to continue on this positive path in 2014 and I hope everyone else is as eager as I am to see how the new year is going to turn out. I didn't expect much when I started this blog in 2010 (has it been that long already?!) so the fact that anyone reads my posts or even comments is just beyond my wildest dreams. Thanks for being such awesome readers, even when I'm being a terrible blogger!
