Caught up in the game, that was the last I heard

During the cold Canadian winters, tights are my best friend. I layer them under EVERYTHING. Tights underneath jeans. Tights underneath dress pants. Even tights underneath stockings! I was content with this method of staying warm, until I happened upon the wonderful land of eBay and all it has to offer.. which included FLEECE TIGHTS. My world was changed, especially when I realized I could layer two of them together and completely eliminate the need for pants!

Fast forward two years later, and I was back on eBay to replace my very well-loved/abused fleece tights. I was about to commit to the same pair that I had purchased previously, when I discovered this:

The one on the left is described as 'thicken velvet leggings' while the one on the right is 'thicken leggings.' Both items can be bought here. From what I gather, the 'thicken' leggings are basically double fleece, which meant that I could have the same warmth as two pairs of regular fleece tights with less of the bulk. Fantastic. The 'thicken velvet leggings' are the double fleece with velvet lining. -15 degrees Celsius? BRING IT ON. Best $12 I have ever spent. I do recommend that you wear them only if you're spending most of your time outdoors or running errands.. prolonged periods of time spent indoors wearing this will result in a sweaty butt. No joke.

I told you I wanted more, but that's not what I had in mind

Forever21 peplum top (similar here), GAP polka dot trousers (current season here), H&M necklace (similar here), H&M belt (similar here and here), Zara d'orsay shoes, Balenciaga RH City bag

It felt nice to finally be able to let my feet BREATHE and wear open shoes, but the fantastic Spring-like weather from the past weekend has come and gone.. This peplum top from Forever21 is a nice punch of neon to remind me that warmer weather is on its way, and at only $12.80, I just had to pick up another fun colour to keep my spirits up!

Whether you fail or fly, well shit, at least you tried

Zara jacket (similar here), Joe Fresh t-shirt, GAP boyfriend jeans, MMM x H&M plexiglass wedges (similar here and here), Balenciaga RH City bag

The weather this past weekend was insanely beautiful, so I finally pulled these beauties out. I managed to score the Maison Martin Margiela x H&M wedges for a mere $60, which is definitely a step down from the original price of $299! Of course, being patent leather and brand new, I was limping by the end of the day... but I like to be optimistic and say that I'm one wear closer to breaking these bad boys in!
