I got some great news at work last week, so I decided to treat myself to a little something special...
With PN's firm 'no to a new bag' in mind (as he pointed out, I DID just purchase the Rockie..), I texted a contact and asked what he knew about the YSL Arty Oval ring, and he confirmed what I had suspected: Holt Renfrew will no longer be carrying the line. I had done some research prior to asking, and all signs were pointing towards the fact that this style of ring was being discontinued!
Luckily for me, he knew of someone who happened to be thinking of selling the same ring.. in my size! It was fate.
I am wearing a size 6 here, and it fits my middle finger perfectly and is passable on my ring finger. I normally would've never gone for this gem colour (called fushia pink), but beggars can't be choosers. All online options were around $100 more expensive when calculating taxes and customs.. as if this ring wasn't expensive enough! I was lucky to get mine at a pre-loved price, and I couldn't be any happier.
P.S., apologies for the poor photo quality.. forgetting the camera cord at PN's means making do with my iPhone!

I believe it's still only rumoured to be discontinued, but from all the sources that I've heard from (including mine), it is definitely being discontinued. The stock that you see at NAP or Saks (through the links I provided) will be the last of it. If you go in store to purchase, the SAs may be able to tell you more.

i love the arty ring! i can't stop wearing mine. are they really discontinuing it? bummer! i guess ysl is really going forward with the minimalist makeover.

Promotion! Was hovering in limbo for a while, so it's a relief. I've been wearing my ring as often as I can since I got it! Can't stop plotting how I can hoard more before they're completely gone...
