Oh what a shame that you came here with some one

Do you remember when you were a child and you would come across those chocolate calendars in Walmart? I would beg my parents to buy them for me, and whenever they did, I would tear open each flap and devour the chocolates in one session! Well, the innovative team at Loose Button has reinvented the advent calender for adults! This review is based purely on a first impression unboxing basis.

The Luxe Advent Calendar is big.. and I mean really big! You can see in the comparison photo that it is easily double the size of my slipper. It came in a sturdy brown box, and was beautifully wrapped. And now on to the unveiling...

As you can see, the Luxe Advent Calendar contains 24 deluxe-sized samples, with all ingredients listed on the reverse side.

To open, you just simply pop in the half-moon tab...

... and pull!

I'd like to say that I opened all of the tabs for the sole purpose of this review, and totally not because I don't have any patience... Who am I kidding? I was never one for surprises, and I was just way too eager to get my hands on all of these little samples.

The calendar contains 6 fragrances, 9 cosmetic products, and 9 skin care products. There is seriously something for every one in this box! Some stand outs: Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill mascara, Lancome Tresor perfume, and the YSL Rouge Pur Couture in 01. You can get more information and a closer look at the contents by clicking here.

This box would be a fantastic Christmas gift for a girlfriend or a relative. It's the gift that keeps on giving! Not only do they get a little surprise each day (assuming that they have more willpower than I do and will only open one a day), but each sample can easily last for two weeks of daily use! The variety of products in this box means that you could be using some of these samples months after you've initially opened them. This would also make an amazing gift for yourself! You can experiment with a slew of high end products for a reasonable price.

Some other important details about the Advent Calendar:
- There is a limited quantity, so order while you can! The boxes will be shipped at the end of November.
- Only available to Canadian residents.
- The cost of $109 includes a $10 gift card, to be used towards the purchase of a full-sized product, which will be available via the Loose Button website.

Although the Luxe Advent Calendar was sent to me for review purposes, I am not being compensated in any way for this blog post. This review was strictly based on my own, personal opinion.
