I was a flight risk with a fear of falling

The Taste of Danforth just occurred this past weekend, and as a self-proclaimed foodie, you can bet your bottom I was there!

Smoked brisket with slaw on a bun

Pulled pork tacos with salsa and sour cream (highlight of the day!)

Baklava

Freshly shucked oysters

Pork souvlaki on a stick

Frozen yogurt with strawberries

 Chilled apple tea

Tiramisu

The weather was blistering hot, and being the fools that we were, we listened to The Weather Network and brought umbrellas with us (PN and I took my younger cousins). We looked like fools carrying them around with us the entire day, although it did rain later on that evening.

On the way back home, we actually managed to catch a ride on one of the new subway trains in Toronto. PN was highly amused.. can you guys tell he's not one for public transit? What a spoiled brat, :).

I am so jealous since I wasn't able to eat well at all this past weekend. I feel so frustrated! lol I wonder if there will be a time where I will carry umbrellas with me because of the heat... I need hands to eat! lol
